We fell victim to the format of this tournament. We were a really good team that routinely disposed of inferior opponents and picked the wrong day to have a shit game. It hurts, I feel bad for Paige and Holton, but no matter what we were not going to win that game. We froze once SFA didn't just crawl into a ball and say "you got this" when we took an early lead and were afraid to take jump shots or chances. I really don't know what to expect next year, I feel we left an opportunity on the table to do something unprecedented here. If Tom Izzo with a NPOY and Bob Huggins with a 40 minute press can't stifle a determined low major, then we just have to accept that sometimes it's not going to be your day in a OAD format when you will get a team that has nothing to lose and everything to gain.

I think it's almost better for your team if you are a lower seed with nothing to lose. Looked like our team was feeling pressure. But even that, we got off to a good start at 20-11. One would think that would calm us down.

Yea...we need to lose more regular season games to prepare for The Dance.

For round 1 yes, but you're going to see most if not all of these teams drop hard in round 2. There is a reason they're seeded low, and it's easy to play a career game with a huge stage and no expectations. Wouldn't be surprised to see them lose to Mich or ND by 30.
