ISU against BYU

I wonder if they would oppose Notre Dame. If so would anybody listen or care given their $$$$$ value they would add. Notre Dame has an honor code with a priest as the guy who runs the school.
For the record I would oppose Notre Dame but for the reason Gordon Gee gave, ie "they may be Holy on Sunday, but they're Holy Hell to deal with the other 6 days." To me it's funny.
I wonder if they would oppose Baylor or TCU. They're both Private Christian colleges.
Bottom line to me is if the Big XII expands (and I hope we don't), get schools with football traditions and fan bases. To heck with the academic crap and the school stances on social issues. We're playing sports, not playing politics. Just want entertainment.
Btw Nobody has called for Baylor to be expelled and they had an institutional problem with sexual assault of women by athletes on campus. Also the Dave Bliss problems.

Agree on your Baylor comments for sure. If they aren't the most disgusting school out there, short of UNC, I'm not sure who it would be.........
Do any of the decision makers in the Big 12 really care what the ISU student government thinks? I would certainly hope not.
Poorly written subject title. The story did not say anything about ISU being against BYU, just their Student body. I say F'em the student body
ISU Student Body, Student Government and Student Senate is against BYU membership in the Big 12. That pretty much means ISU, other than the president and BOR. Not sure of your point.
So now the PC police have the power to say who plays who on the football field within a conference? PC is a bunch of crap anymore. It has become a game of picking and choosing winners and losers in life...with the few dominating the many. Just live and let live and stop the whining.
You got that right! Would definitely make the 1hr and 15min drive from Ogden to Provo down I-15 to see our boys play BYU.
