Isaiah Cottrell hasn’t played in any UNLV games, isn’t listed on the roster (ESPN)

Its not the first time. Let them go. The only one who can play some is Bridges, but he was too soft for Huggins ball.

Still pissed about how Oscar was handled, NPOY was on our roster and we ran him off. But mostly I agree, you can’t bend over backwards to placate divas. Most believe they are destined for the NBA or atleast a high paying professional career somewhere and most won’t achieve that and when they aren’t accepting a secondary role because it means the end of their delusional dream then they need to be let go.

No way for WVU to keep Oscar without placating a diva. He was clearly high on himself after his good freshman year and played like utter crap the first part of his sophomore year. Oscar got called out on his poor play and rather than taking the proper attitude of playing with hustle like did as a freshman, he chose to play the victim in transferring. It seems he thought he was such a great player to be at lowly WVU that he could just do what he wanted. Had WVU agreed to placate the diva, it is highly unlikely he makes any changes at all.

Yea but special talent wins championships, would rather have the NPOY and probably some hardware to show for it.

The point is Oscar never would've sniffed NPOY had he continued putting forth the effort he was at WVU during his sophomore season. Oscar was playing like a prima donna sissy and doing nothing down low on offense or defense at WVU. When it was finally brought up to him, he chose to act like a dishonorable bitch baby and transfer. Only after he was at Kentucky where being a 5 star recruit isn't a big deal and he had a chip on his shoulder about being called out for his laziness did he finally start trying again. Maybe there was a magical way to get Oscar to actually try again at WVU, but I doubt it.

That would be a NO. WVU did not run him off. There were outside influences and shit that pressured him to leave and persuasion from UK athletic department. Oscar thought he could shoot from the outside and he can not.

UK promised to teach him to shoot and what does he do? Stays under the basket, rebounds, put back shots and defense. The same shit he did at WVU.

Huggins nor anyone else from the athletic department ran him off.

He didn't win a title. Kentucky as a 2 seed lost first round NCAA. They didn't win the SEC, they finished 3rd. They did not win the SEC tournament title as they lost in semi-finals.

Huggins did not run him off and he was a lazy bitch.

Oscar never wanted to come to WVU. He has said that. He was miserable here. He (his handlers) couldn't make the amount of $$$ they could at UK. That's what motivated him (them).

Being in foul trouble also prevented him from any accolades. Hard to play when you’re fouling out bc you’re out of shape.

He said a lot of things that were not true. Did that motivate him to feel better after quitting mid season and abandoning his teammates?
