And keeping some plays under wraps until the meat of the schedule starting next week? I’m concerned if those picks represent defenses beginning to properly scheme for our offense.

Our routes are based on what the defenders are doing. My guess? They intentionally gave one look and knowing how we would respond then jumped the anticipated route adjustment for that look.
Hopefully the lesson learned is that we need to be less predictable in our red zone route tree. We need to run it better down there so we don’t even have to pass.

I think it's more like Grier forcing balls. He also looks to Sills 90% of the time at the goal line. Not hard to figure that out.
