Nothing new to March Madness
It is a warning shot across the bow for WVU, though. Buffalo or Kentucky, you can't afford a bad game in March Madness or you go home and stew over it till next season, or forever if you're a senior.
Hell, Notre Dame was fortunate to escape first round jinx. No. 3 seed means nothing in the NCAAs. All that counts is what you do when the game is played.
That's why I keep saying that Kentucky is NOT a lock to win it all. Sure, the Wildcats have more talent than any other team. But the more talented team does NOT win every game in March Madness. The team that plays better does. Every game.
