In my previous analogy ... we ended up being on the Clemson side

Everybody but UK is in the same boat....we're all just headed

for the footnote page!

Every one of their guys

looked like they were a foot taller than every one of ours. I knew they were big but they made us look really small.

As soon as I saw how the game was going to be called I knew we had no chance, there was no way we could play with a team like that with the game being called that close. Our only chance was to be able to be physical enough to cause trouble and generate turnovers.

The refs aren't why we lost ... so don't take that as me blaming the refs. The refs didn't cause us to shoot 19% and it really all started there. We couldn't score (some was their defense, most was us just missing shots) which meant we couldn't develop any confidence or get the press setup.

Bunch of freshman on this team, could be a fun couple of years ahead of us.

I drew the same conclusion...the WVU press is much more

effective if the refs let 'em play! But to press you have to make some baskets which was a real struggle for the Mounties. I went to one UK game in person earlier this season ( Buffalo) and you're right , it shocks the conscience to see that many huge human beings on one team. Their guards are even huge...I' ve seen it reported that only the Portland Trailblazres have a bigger team among the NBA franchises. Smack aside ...no disgrace getting thumped by that bunch!

On Mike and Mike this morning

They were saying that this Kentucky team has 8 McDonalds All Americans and the Knicks have 2. Also compared their size up front with a lot of the NBA teams.

Wisconsin might have a chance...Kamansky is a 7 footer

and Decker is just an all round excellent player. Badgers shoot the ball very well, smart and tough...but probably lack the depth to beat UK but I think they'll give 'em a game!

A lot of teams have 1

A lot of teams have a 7 footer (OK, maybe not a lot since there aren't a lot of 7 footers), or 6'10", 6'11" guys.

Never seen a college team with 2 complete front court lineups of them.

True...but Kamansky is legit player in his own right but

your point is valid...it's one against three!
