Your beloved Mounties will lose tonight but I kind of expect them to acquit themselves well...but the Texas Tech game in 10 days is for the season!
This four game stretch has been against teams ranked 2, 3, 12 and 14 ... and only one of them at home. Teams that are a combined 27-1.
I have no interest in losing and acquitting ourselves. We either win or we don't. We still have the potential for a 9-3 regular season against that schedule, 10-3 if we win the bowl game. Tonight will be a tall order though. I agree that the TT game is for the season. Realistically, I shouldn't expect a win tonight, but we should win out the rest of the way.
Oklahoma, TCU and BU are indeed a brutal October test! OSU not so much and WVU just gave that game away, IMHO! Texas Tech is a dangerous but flawed team but HOGO should bea tthem in Morgantown....if he's fails to do so, he'll have more time to visit Cross Vegas or the real Vegas!
OSU is undefeated and ranked 12 right now ... but you're right, we gave that game away, never should have lost that one. Totally agree that TT will be the tipping point in the season.
Cowboys needed a miracle to "beat" WVU and Texas....their Waterloo is close at hand!
