He makes more than their entire athletic program. That's what happens when you play State and Wesleyan in basketball and an endless slate of nobodies in football.

If so, he deserves it. Our assistants are far more skilled than the pretender at Marshall. Reason I have never had any desire to consider him for at the HC position at wvU. He is regarded as a good recruiter, but that must be qualified by noting that his successes were wrapped around being where he could bring in kids with questionable backgrounds (generally academic in nature) and decent athletic skills. Take away such a recruiting pool and he may be below average in real recruiting skill. He surely is well below average as a coach. I spoke with him a couple times while he was at NC State and he was a total jerk each time. He seems to lack integrity, any sense of loyalty, and general human goodness. In short--he is a general failure, jerk and poor coach. Nuff said.
