What would Marshall's record be if they played eleven P-5 football teams in the same year instead of just one or two per year like they do now.

Probably about the same as yours, except I like our chances much better that yours against Utah.

Even the announcers were talking about your apparent lack of preparation and discipline during the half and after the game was over. You got your asses beat on both sides of the ball.

Que that ESPN One-On-One interview with Holgs from a few years back.

Who knows, but every year it’s a guarantee after the season ends some Poutie fan after a disappointing season always refers back to “Marshall P5 record.” And this year after less than 24 hours here we go again

Since you brought it up, Marshall is 7-35 all time when they played major programs, and only one of those seven wins was against a team that finished the year with a winning record. Why do we mention that embarrassing matter of fact ? It's because you Herdiots are never out in full force until we lose a game against P-5 competition.

So Marine...........If you've got the balls to answer the question, what's your answer as to how Marshall would fare playing 11 P-5's every year like WVU does ?

Ha Ha. So I guess you don't want to answer the question. I don't blame you for not wanting to think about how Marshall would fare if they didn't traditionally play one of the weakest schedules in all of FBS. (Which just for the record is currently ranked 119th among the 130 FBS programs.)

It’s a rhetorical question and one that can’t be predicted. It’s like asking who will have a hip replacement and be in diapers first, you or snow baby. Answer is I have no idea. I’ll say this though, based off your schedule we have no less than 4 wins that are automatic, BU, KU, ECU, Deleware State, we have and very well could beat KSU, which gets us to 5 wins. The rest we’d be dogs in but we also play half of those at home, so who knows. Answer your question? Now hit me back with rhetoric

I didn't ask you how your team would have fared against our schedule this year...........What I asked was how do you think Marshall would fare if they played eleven P-5 teams every year like WVU does. Swallow that lump in your throat that pops up when you imagine that possibility, stop side stepping the question and give us an honest answer. None of your Herdiot sidekicks that were here this morning have enough balls to answer, I was hoping you did...........maybe I overestimated you.

Like I said, how the Fvck do I know. It’s a stupid question. But since you asked and this is a rhetorical question here’s my rhetorical answer.

KU- win
Baylor- win
Indiana- win
Syracuse- win
Maryland- win
Rutgers- win
UNC- win
Purdue- win at home
Kentucky- win at home
Vanderbilt- win on road
Tennessee- win at home

There you go, 11 P5 teams and we are undefeated.

Kudos to Marine03, who at least came up with something, far-fetched as it may be. Not surprisingly, this thread chased away the hordes of Herdiots who were chirping away after our bowl loss.

I'm sure they will be back with our next loss on the basketball court.
