if we would have gone for it on 4th and a half yard to go with about a minute to go. Did Holgorsen answer any media questions to that effect?

A field goal would have put is up 8 instead of 5, so there is an argument to going that route also to force no worse than a tie in regulation and giving the defense an extra out for the win by stopping a two point try. Just imagine fan reaction if we did not make it on fourth down and then having TT get some fluky play or set of plays to win it by one. Let's be honest. As Mountaineer fans, it is not difficult to imagine that scenario playing out. It would have been extra ugly around here.

But I still would lean toward going for it to put the game completely out of reach. Any other opinions?

I think Dana would have gone for it and some WVU "fans" would be pissed he didn't kick the field goal.

Or Dana would have kicked the field goal and some WVU "fans" would have be pissed he didn't go for it.
