our house is still here in Edenton NC.. just came back yesterday after staying in Charles Town for three nights, in the greatest state in the nation..We bought this house two months ago, I'm sure our little house wouldn't mean much to a lot of people but it means a great deal to us..thanks again

Good for you.

I hope the rain falling in the mountains of VA. doesn't get your place from the backside as the rivers rise. High water coming from upcountry doesn't play well with high tides in the sounds.

3 water rescues in my county last night. bridges and roads flooded, some washed out. Did not expect that this far inland. Worst flooding I have seen here.
