What is it again? Big12-10=14 or something like that? STFU When Houston gets an invite it's gonna be something to see.

Interesting that this thread started AFTER a huge win.

...believe/express your opinion before there's proof it has validity and people will respect your future thoughts more (even before they're after the fact).

This is an 'I told you so ' thread minus telling anybody anything at any time about what you think will happen.

So Houston gets one win against OU and they're all of a sudden shoo-ins?

If I used that expression I would have typed 'shoe in'... ...but suddenly I get it.

Laughing at myself helps me get thru each day.

Man are you a party pooper! How bout some positive football talk. What strengths did you see Saturday that makes WVU a factor against the best teams in the conference?

Definition ofshoo–in
  1. : one that is a certain and easy winner
I think shoo-in for Houston is the right term. After ripping into Oklahoma, Houston won't need to be shoehorned into the Big 12. After all, Houston and BYU were the top candidates away till the Mormons' stance against a variety of sexual preferences got in the way.
Houston certainly proved it's worthy of being in the Big 12, and not just for the Oklahoma victory. Houston probably will be in the top 10 when the polls come out today. The Big 12 won't turn down a top 10 team for membership.

So what your saying is if a Big 12 team lost to a OOC the first week then that should qualify them for membership. When will Northern Iowa be invited to the Big 12? Good thing Rhode Island didn't beat Kansas.

Why would the Big 12 invite a sex scandal BYU team? They already have Baylor. BYU should be a Big Fat NO.

I agree it's the correct term

I was just dicking on myself.

As for conferences in trouble, the SEC went 6-6 on the opening week, I believe. So maybe Nick Saban and the rest should be fired? :grimace:
