And we could bury a quarter on that third field. Then that third field would hold more worth than what ESPN and Fox were willing to pay combined to broadcast you and your conference.
If the need for a third practice field should ever arise it's good to know we could afford it.
When your conference hands you a check for $30 million every year you can have things like that whether or not you actually need them. Of course that comes with having to listen to criticism from those who can't keep up....

Based on your results, particularly finishing behind the Herd for the past three years, I would suggest spending some of that money on the recruiting budget, as well as actually using the practice fields to practice. When Kansas looks forward to WVU coming to town, you know things are pretty brutal.

WVU certainly did not finish behind MVU last year. All but one poll had MVU behind WVU. We just don't play the #236 hardest schedule like you boys do or have a coach that voted us for his team in the 11th slot. As for Kansas they beat us once, something MVU could not do in 12 tries. Our State Legislature just finished a special session in order to pass a balanced budget. Many cuts had to be made, taxes were raised. The taxpayers of WV cannot afford to build a baseball field for Marshall, and with the latest CUSA money cutbacks, neither can Marshall. But I'm sure there are plenty of Little League ballparks in Cabell County for Marshall to play ball on.
