has to admire their nerve for going into Morgantown and Lexington, back to back. Most coaches would go " code blue" at the thought of that road trip!

With winning the Big 12 twelve straight times, I doubt that they are worried about who and where they play before or after Kentucky.

Had we not laid eggs for two straight games, I'd be more confident. Giving up too many layups and drives to the rim, also, turning the ball over much more (competition has something to do with that, however). If we play with the energy level we had last month, I like our chances. It just depends on what team shows up tonight. Home court is everything in B12 (sans Oklahoma)

I think KU is walking head long into a buzz saw tonight! They'll think Rupp Arena is paradise compared to welcome they'll get tonight.

I like your confidence but have no idea what to expect tonight. We could win by 10 or lose by 20 or anything in between.

I'm hoping that the last two games woke them up and they come out with the energy and effort they need. I'm thinking they will since it's Kansas, but who knows.

The only thing that can get them beat is not being able to protect the lead late in the game at the charity stripe....Let's Go Mountaineerrrrsss!

I can't believe we won that game, especially by the margin we did ... without turning them over more.

That's very promising

Mounties shot the ball well last night and KU couldn't make lay ups or FT's....but the hostile environs of the road often have that effect. WVU -2 was a stone cold lock.

Did you wager on it?
Yep and will bet against Jawhawks Saturday night as well. No stronger home advantage in all of sports than home court in college basketball. Vegas usually makes you pay through the nose to play the home team but WVU -2 was way to good to pass up......in other speculative ventures what do you make of the DOW cracking 20K?

It is interesting to see what will happen with that. I remember during the Clinton years when it cracked 10k for the first time. There was some resistance it seemed when it got to 9800-9900, but then when it broke 10k it was up to 12k in no time at all.

I'm not sure I feel the same about it this time, but it has been nice for my investments recently.

I don't really know what it means either ...at some level isn't it just a number? GE and VRZ are the only two Dow components that I own.

It is just a number, but the market is driven by emotion almost as much as anything else ... the primary of those emotions being fear and greed, but excitement in new ground plays a bit of a role as well. CSCO is the only Dow stock that I own. My retirement has a number of index funds so the DOW affects me there. My "play" investment money doesn't have index funds in it, but also not a lot of individual stocks. I stick mostly with funds and ETF's, but still with a balanced and diversified strategy.

True...funny how momentum effects the market!

I can't wait to see what that's going to do for my 401-k. It's been gaining bigly since November 9. Should show Hyyyyuuuge gains when my next statement comes.
