I know we've lost 4 of 5, but at the beginning of the year, considering the starters we lost and many new faces, I felt a prediction of 23-8 with a #4 seed was fairly optimistic. It's disappointing to peak at #2 in the nation and then fall to mid-teens, but we're actually where most of us thought we'd be come the end of January. If we could win at Kansas and Oklahoma, 24-7 gets us a #3 seed methinks.
We seriously need to win our next two games or that means the wheels are coming off, FAST, and we could be looking at 20-11 with a NIT bid. That would stink. Like really bad. But I still feel like Esa and the team haven't found their chemistry yet, and when/if they do, we will be even better than we were against UVa.
