and I was right to bet against them, with my last gasp I spit at the Red Raiders who will not win another game other than the Kansas tilt.
Other than KU, who couldn't beat a good HS team...you think TT rings the victory bell again this season? No, you weren't right to bet against Texas Tech on Saturday, Tony. The Red Raiders never trailed in the game, and although the winning touchdown was a "scoop and score," Texas Tech pretty much gave the Old Fold & Blew a touchdown before that by fumbling in its own end of the field. With the same head coaches, who were brand new at the time, the Red Raiders blasted the Old Fold & Blew in Morganhole last season. One game might be an aberration, but two are a trend. Your mistake was betting ON WVU, and not necessarily betting AGAINST Texas Tech. As I told you last week, fool me once.... GUNS UP!!!
Well, you got me there...no rebuttal! You keep focusing on Texas Tech, Tony. I wouldn't be surprised if "Guns Up" picks off either Baylor or TCU, and would place the over/under on the Red Raiders' Big 12 wins at 3. But, the bottom line is that the Old Fold & Blew ain't worth betting on this season.
That game will be tough...WVU a slight 3 point favorite at home!Big game for the cousins this week, with the annual November chill arriving shortly thereafter.
They have to hope for a win over K-State, and another one at home against TCU to get to the .500 mark this year. I don't see any other possible wins on the slate.
I agree it's a pass...KSU is hard nosed and fundamentally sound but WVU has better players you noted!Stay away from the WVU/Kansas State game, Tony. KSU is incredibly unathletic, but doesn't beat itself often. If WVU has its normal number of penalties and turnovers, then the Purple Cats will prevail, but if the Old Fold & Blew cuts down its mistakes, then it will win, as it has a decided athletic advantage. Moreover, K-State lost its dual-threat starting quarterback a couple of weeks ago, and has to play a freshman behind center. Too much uncertainty to bet that game.
You must have an MBA from WVU....you want me to risk a $1.10 to win 50 cents! HahahahahahahahaOnce again I will extend my offer to you guys who think you're smarter than the people in Vegas that put out the point spreads. Whatever amount you want to bet on any game of your choosing, instead of putting your dollars into the hands of people who make their living outsmarting people like you, just send that money to me instead. At the end of the football season I will send you back half of your money and keep the other half for myself, and we will both be money ahead.

tOSU tried to explain the betting line to you and I guess it went over your WVU head! They really should stop giving away degrees up there , not beneficial to the state as a whole!Just keep track of all the dollars you spend betting this year and how much return you get. Then you will see that my offer is better.........and it's still open. Vegas was built on suckers like you, and you don't need a MBA degree to see that.
Not really, Buzzard. Vegas was built more on the backs of slot machine players. Many more people play machines than bet at casino sports books, and for a lot more money wagered. Moreover, the House's advantage is the greatest when machines are played. The margins on sports gambling and table games are smaller, but the House does still make money on those activities, of course.Just keep track of all the dollars you spend betting this year and how much return you get. Craps, boys! The behind the line bet has 0 house advantage and you won't find that anywhere else in the casino, obviously stay away from the middle bets as the yare sucker bets as my friend Buzz calls them. You're right, MichiganHerd, but the house's slot play take in Las Vegas (in percentage terms) is much slimmer than it is in West Virginia. Nevada law requires that a certain percentage of slot revenue be paid out to the gamblers, and this percentage is much higher than West Virginia requires. IIRC, the payout rate for the Mimi's and other hole-in-the-wall gaming establishments in West Virginia is higher than that paid at the racinos/tracks, but both are quite a bit lower than Nevada law requires. As for blackjack, the key is to learn how to count cards, and not drink too many "free" beers while you're playing, as counting accurately with a beer buzz is impossible...or, so I hear.
No doubt sports betting will leave you scratching your head at times...the very best handicappers hit at a percentage rate in the low 60's which after the vig doesn't leave a lot for your wallet.I might end up considering Buzzard's service, not for betting though, but for cash I put away into a can.
I normally toss $20 to $50 per week into a can every week, and then, on a certain date every year, my wife and I count out all the dough, and then we go blow it on a long weekend getaway trip. However, I think the wife pulls from the can way too often throughout the year, and I'm thinking it my be better to send that money to Buzzard, knowing I would only get a 50% return. I think I would end up ahead of the current circumstances.
