I have a message for all you MAGAs out there.
You are winning. Not only are you winning, but you won (past tense).
I know it’s hard to believe. Depending on your age, no Republican has ever delivered liberty in your lifetime other than Reagan. You have watched the country slip deeper and deeper into neo-Marxist decline for decades, with the likes of the Bush family, Romney and McCain doing very little to slow the decline (in fact, they accelerated it).
Even when Trump was elected in 2016, your hope was extinguished quite rapidly as the D.C. Beltway stomped on his inexperienced promise, just as they did to the Tea Party.
The Obama years were unendurable. It seemed everything was against the Constitution and the basic framework of morality that once defined America. It was hopeless. I was there with you. 2008 to 2016 were years of deep depression for me too. I truly get it. Despair and hopelessness were everywhere, and not a glimmer of light shined through the veil of evil. I totally understand your feelings of trepidation and distrust now.
But prayer works, and it did.
Consider 2024.
Whatever you call it—the “Deep State,” the “Establishment,” the “Blob”—whatever it was, from 2020 to 2024 it expended every bit of ammunition it had, it called in every trick and favor it knew, it liquidated all of its reserves, it poured out all of its power, it spent all of its money, it called in all of its reinforcements, it did EVERYTHING in its power—and it lost.
Bigly.
Starting in 2020 with the steal of the election and the installment of a braindead puppet and his equally insipid Veep, the Blob was secure in its belief that it could extinguish the MAGA spirit. The lawfare was new and unprecedented, and they were utterly confident it would succeed. The media lies were ever-present and voluminous, and it seemed nothing could stop their tidal wave of disinformation. They shut down the country over the flu. They suppressed social media. They burned our cities down. They installed a new, vapid puppet candidate when their old puppet candidate had his brain atrophy beyond usability. They flooded the airwaves and the Internet with lie after lie after lie about Trump and Vance and everyone even tangentially in their circle.
None of it worked. NONE OF IT.
The veil was torn away.
The PEOPLE (the ones at the top of that pesky Constitution, you know, “We the PEOPLE…”) saw through it. All of the Blob’s tricks ceased to work. ALL OF THEM. We collectively became Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. We saw the man behind the curtain and knew he was nothing. We tore the curtain away. We came to understand that the power is OUR power, and not that of the deceitful “wizard.”
The fact that Trump won despite the expenditure of every asset at his enemies’ disposal shows that the People are wise, the People have regained control of their destiny, and the Blob’s hypnotic spell over the People has been thoroughly, utterly, completely and permanently broken.
You have won.
YOU HAVE WON.
Zuckerberg’s surrender today is extraordinary proof of what I say.
If I was a preacher I would be in the town square, standing on a milk crate, with my megaphone set at 11.
But like all victories, the win can be squandered. Do not squander it.
Now is the time for big dreams. Greenland. The Panama Canal. Destroying the Deep State. Ending DEI. Ending racism. Making America healthy again. Creating unprecedented prosperity for all. Ending forever wars. Uniting the nation behind our founding principles. BIG, BIG dreams—and they are now attainable.
We stand at the precipice of an opportunity to redefine who we are, but we must stay united.
Donald Trump is a unique visionary. He is the sort of man that comes along only every 500 years or so. America has never seen anything like Donald Trump. Please give him your trust, at least for now. Keep winning bigly. Please unite behind his agenda.
Optimism is infectious, as is pessimism. To exploit the victory we already won, we need to be united, optimistic, happy warriors. That happiness and unanimity will demoralize our enemies and cement our victory for future generations. We cannot let the enemy off of the metaphorical wrestling mat into which we shoved their lying, deceitful mouths.
You say you disagree with Trump on some things? That’s fair. That’s America. Voice your disagreement. But when push comes to shove, please realize that the perfect is the enemy of the good, and that at the end of the day we’re all on the same team pushing for the fulfillment of America’s promise.
