J.Small was a stud. In spite of what @Walt said…I felt Small was worth it and a great player the moment we got him.
I knew Tucker could shoot it…I know many wondered if he could play at this level - I felt he could shoot on this level for sure…but I have been very surprised by his defense, passing, his court awareness and his gravity…that is a huge deal for this team - his gravity makes the game easier for the other guys.
Amari has blown me away based on my expectations…he has played amazing and he has been our #3 scorer and from all over the court. He has been a problem for other teams.
Tanner is another guys that many thought was in over his head…that is wrong too. I needs guys helping him on D (size and strength) but offensively he is calm, smart and a baller
Powell is going to be great and he will be a huge part on many nights this season. I know he had a tough tourney shooting the ball but he still defended well and rebounded.
Harris is so athletic..and long….my guess is he spends a tone of time on his shot - just to make people pay for walking away from him.
To think we beat Arizona today in OT after 3rd OT is 3 days and today our big was out against the biggest team we will play this year…
Omani is a glue piece who seems to bring exactly what you need when you need it. Today he was $$$
It seems to me that coach is enjoying himself…he is building here and I hope he loves Morgantown and WV…because his present and future are very very bright.
