All smack aside, 14 points is not enough. I am taking the Vol's and giving the points on this one.
They were ahead by 15 in the second half. 2nd moral victory.
They hung with Tennessee for part of the game. So they must have SEC talent. Moral victory 3.
They were all over the Vols - 14. We might have some homeless Cousins! Hope they don't try to get it back on MU/WVU.....they'll suffer another financial setback!

I have a feeling James Madison will beat you boys like a tom-tom. They are a good team and we beat them by 13 on a semi-neutral floor. Improving? Not many places to go up up for your program.
Better enjoy this year's WVU game as your mouthy coach is doing his best to end the series for good.

This game is always horrible to watch. Want to guess on an o/u for number of players fouled out? I'd put at 3. You want the over or the under?
This is CLASSIC Marshla behavior! Every team that they play is national championship caliber, ESPECIALLY a team that beats them.
On the other hand, WVU was in the Sweet 16 last year, but we suck and will be lucky to punch our way out of a wet paper bag.

Tennessee is a terrible team this year. Marshall will be lucky to have 2 wins by the time they play WVU.
Driving through Knoxville yesterday listening to the coaches show for UT... he was a very unhappy camper. Felt like the Vols should have blown the herd out of the gym from start to finish but the players wouldn't listen. Said something about fan trying to get him to call a TO in the second half when things were going very poorly, but he figured they'd either figure out they weren't listening and start listening and thus win... or they would lose and maybe the embarrassment would force them to listen going forward. He never mentioned marshall by name so it wasn't until last night when I got home that I realized who the vol opponent was.
I figure there are countless basketball programs in the state of Kentucky that Marshall fans would be envious of.......not just one.
By 'nothing special' you mean nothing other than a sweet 16 basketball team last year? I suppose you are used to us in elite 8s and final 4s.... Our "un-specialness" and your un-specialness is vastly different.
They were a good team last year. Everyone's "dark horse" to make a run. Pity they had to face Huggins. Did we "nip" Maryland too? Also, how would a Marshall fan know anything about post season tournaments that you don't have to pay to play in? Pork chop around neck?
