Play for your team in the game it is playing and skip the audition game with other wanna be stars. Lost all respect.
Says the guy upset that athlete he doesnt know isnt playing in a game for his own personal entertainment and has no affect on his life.

This is the new reality with the CFP. None of the other bowls mean a damn thing so why have them?
Giving Allison a month of starting reps benefits us way more than beating Syracuse by 35 instead of by 15
Completely different scenario.
1.) Senior bowl is coached by NFL coaches and staff and the entire week there are tons of scouts watching the practices and doing additional scouting.
2.) WAY less injury risk as the QB's likely play 20 or so snaps (at most) and while they play hard it's an exhibition game and both sides know that. Also rules only allow a 4 man rush and specific personal sets which will reduce injury.
3.) There is some speculation that Grier had the benefit of great receivers. This will give him an opportunity to showcase his skills with a different set of receivers.
And whoever mentioned the players on the team being pissed at him for leaving, that is laughable AT BEST. These players play hard in the bowl game but they don't give a shit about this game and I would bet if he asked them 95% would tell him to leave.

This is exactly how I feel. Actually looking forward to it. This isn't like last year with career bench warmer Chugganov starting and getting blown out bu a sub .500 team. That was just plain awful.
If you are a player and you care about the game, your teammates, the university, the fans, it means something every time you lace them up.

Not to get philosophical but short term gratification is not always the best thing for us long term.
The issue is the people are taught not to make the best choices and this keeps the idea that we need something in our life that is bigger than us to determine our path.
