I actually thought that the herd might sneak in to the NIT

after their good finish, but looking at the records of the teams that did make it I can see why they got left out.........and as for ahia state.......[pfftt]

I'm actually surprised some members of the Herd fan base are shocked and surprised that the Herd didn't get an NIT invite. There's some pretty good teams playing in it this year. Some teams may not look like name brands, but they won their regular season conference title, and received an auto-birth. Did Ohio State not make the NIT?

Too many losses to woeful teams...S. Miss beat us and went on to lose 22 games, EKU beat us and lost 20 games, you can't lose to teams like that have a decent RPI. But it was a good run in the conference tourny and gives us something to build on.

Teams that finish 6th in cusa should never make a tournament.
