When rich was here I knew we would one day play for the national championship. After that devastating loss, I thought that was bad but he will get it done eventually. Then he left. That was soul crushing and I’ve held a grudge ever since.
This coaching search hasn’t gone at all like I hoped and it’s put a spotlight on just where WVU stands in the football world. Not enough money, a lesser conference, etc.
I’ll say this. Rich wants to be here. That’s more that can be said from all the other names brought up. We all want to win. The man knows how to coach and wants to be here. Holding a grudge hurts no one but me.
