WVU has 2nd best conference and overall record in Big 12. Behind Baylor, of course.

WVU also has a road record (7-2) that is pretty close to its home record (6-3) so it pretty much doesn’t matter where Huggins Heroes play. Which is good for March Madness in Indianapolis.

WVU also is 5-4 against Top 25 teams. Not too shabby a season, huh?

Now if they can beat Kansas State, 9th in the Big 12, at 4 p.m. today, then – please, God – Baylor at 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 2. A huge order, I know. Then TCU at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 4, and Oklahoma State (tipoff time undetermined) on Saturday, March 8.

All 4 games at home but, as pointed out, WVU does as well on the road as they do at home. But staying in Morgantown for 8 days means a lot better conditions before and after the games.

There are few fans at the games. There is no real home court advantage this year.
