Vernon’s post about Steve Dunlap’s record(s) got me thinking about all the homegrown talent we’ve had go thru Morgantown, and more specifically, some of the talent coming from certain towns in this great state.
With that in mind, I thought I’d start a thread listing some of the players that stayed home and went to Morgantown. This list isn’t so much comparing one town to another, but more of a celebration of so many players wearing the Mountaineer uniform coming from somewhere within the Country Roads neighborhood. I’ll start with these guys coming from Hurricane…
Steve Lewis
Steve Dunlap
Doc Holliday
Graeson Malashevich
Michael Williams
and I’m hoping the Dues kid makes some noise… we’ll see.
@chappy3 , @mtlion , lemme know who I mighta left out.
I goofed up… Grayson’s Dad Billy was a multi positional player for Hurricane that played with Mike Williams; the youngster played at Spring Valley.
