WVU Release Holton suspended

Jonathan Holton has been suspended indefinitely for violation of team rules.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (January 28, 2016) – West Virginia University men’s basketball coach Bob Huggins announced this evening that senior forward Jonathan Holton has been suspended indefinitely from the team for a violation of team rules.



Holton, a native of Miami, Fla., has played in 20 games this season, averaging 9.7 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.

Well this hurts. Time for Adrian to step up and Ahmad to realize WVU needs him to live up to his expectations. Hopefully Ahmad comes through and maybe this is the opportunity Myers needs to become a consistent contributor. I'm going to be a optimistic person here and say Ahmad, Myers and Williams step their game up. Time to rally!
