Not really a surprise. Despite finishing first in the regular season, Self has said several times this Kansas team is young and no where close to some of his better teams. May be a clue as to why the rest of the conference has struggled somewhat. Great competitive conference but another example of why SOS is many times not always the most reliable tool to determine just how successful a team or conference will be in the tournament.
