If I were delusional, then I would have predicted and expected Ohio State to win the National Championship in football but I admittedly never thought that a team that could lose to an underachieving five-loss team late in the season had what it took to clear all of the hurdles required to win a 12-team playoff. I was glad to be wrong but wasn't close to being delusional.
