This had been discussed months ago but more proof that Doc and Hamrick are clowns, and knew of Lang's dealing:

from the H-D:
Lang admitted he participated in the conspiracy in early 2015 by allowing multiple people to distribute heroin from his apartment in the 1900 block of 7th Avenue in Huntington, Casto previously said.

He was ordered to serve the first six months of his term on home confinement. He had served four months in prison after he was detained when the indictment was unsealed.

On Feb. 4, 2015, agents with the Huntington FBI Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at his apartment and seized two firearms and a set of digital scales.

Lang was interviewed by agents two days after the raid.

Defense attorney Carl Hostler noted Lang's conviction was based on a statement he gave without being read his rights. In a previous motion to dismiss the case against Lang, Hostler wrote Lang had been informed by Marshall coaches that he would have to cooperate with the investigation or be dismissed from the team, losing his scholarship.

In a sentencing memorandum filed earlier this month, Hostler said Lang regrets his actions. Hostler wrote "there is no question (Lang) made two deliveries of heroin that totaled less than 10 grams on behalf of (Bush)," but he was afraid to turn down the offer.

He admitted two firearms and a set of digital scales were found inside Lang's home, but said the home was not used for dealing, only for partying with the group.

The former strong safety played for the Thundering Herd through the 2015 season and had a heavy hand in Marshall's 41-31 season-opening win over Purdue with 17 tackles and two interceptions for touchdowns. Despite injuries plaguing his performance for most of the season, Lang was named a Conference USA honorable mention player.
