But lots around Michigan Stadium are now charging $50.00 to park, with private lots (homes and personal businesses charging $30.00). What does it cost to park up in the Hole? At one time when I was going, we used to always park at the Health Department, and it was only $10.00. Of course, that was over 20 years ago.

With all the parking spots they have at Ann Arbor Pioneer High School, that school has to make a small fortune on game days, not to mention 8 home games.

Pay up cheapskate.....either that or start attending games at your fall back team. Given the crowds at the Joan you could probably park at Tic Toc Tires for 5 bucks or so.

I'm curious about which "health department" he claims he paid 10 bucks to park at. He must have walked for miles.

Raise the price on meth deals....that' s an easy enough solution:pimp:[thumb2]

Take it to the board of Michigan's rival. Why would a Michigan fan be so fixated on WVU and its fans?

Sounds like a Herd fan living vicariously through an elite team, in my opinion.

I promise you...No WVU fan gives two $h!ts about Michigan except for when it plays in the biggest rivalry of college football. That would be the Ohio State / Michigan rivalry. Every true CFB fan tunes in.

There was a brief time WVU fans tuned in to watch Rodriguez fail at Michigan. It had little to nothing to do with Michigan. Those days are long gone. We are back to rooting for the Wolverines over the Buckeyes.

Outside of that one game, we really don't give a damn.

Acquiring a Season Parking Pass
In order to request football season parking you must be a Blue ($400) annual giving level donor to the Mountaineer Athletic Club and purchase football season tickets through the Mountaineer Ticket Office on the same account. New parking passes are assigned based on annual giving level, priority points within each level and availability. All parking requests should be made on the parking order form that accompanies the football season ticket application.

General Admission Recreational Vehicle (RV) parking is currently available in the Blue, Light Blue Auxiliary and Red lots. Green Lot RV season passes are available to MAC donors at the Captain ($1,500) annual giving level and above. MAC donors at the Champion ($6,500) annual giving level and above have the opportunity to purchase a season RV pass in the Blue, Light Blue Auxiliary or Red lot.

Front Row RV parking is available in both the Blue and Light Blue lots. Front Row RV parking provides donors with a reserved RV parking spot for each home football game. Front Row RV parking in the Blue Lot is available to donors at the Gold Scholar ($15,000) annual giving level and above. New Front Row Blue Lot RV parking space requests are allocated based on annual giving level and priority points within each level. Blue Scholar ($10,000) level annual donors will be given the opportunity to acquire Front Row Blue Lot RV parking passes, if available. Front Row RV parking in the Light Blue Lot is available to MAC donors at the Blue Scholar ($10,000) annual giving level and above (Light Blue Front Row RV parking is currently available on a renewal only basis). All RV parking is based on availability.

Getting a 'Blue Lot' pass at the Coliseum will set you back $25,000...

MichiganHerd has been exposed as a liar, no one parks for WVU games at Ruby for $10........

The Purple Lot... might be different now, used to be $20...

No, that was it. Verified last night with old tailgating buddies. County Health Department lot, almost a mile walk from Stadium. These guys parked there for years, and maybe still do. Nothing wrong with a mile walk. Take two beers with you, and you're all set.

That sounds more like it..........earlier I thought you were trying to claim that you paid $10 to park in the Blue Lot......

Stop back pedaling. Clearly I stated health department in the OP, and you even referenced it in your reply to me. Bottom line, I can afford to pay $50.00 to park, but it's the common fan that concerns me, as they continue to get the shaft at sporting events, making it less and less affordable to them.

But yet, folks wonder why attendance continues to be on the decline overall.

What you call back pedaling is about as close to an apology that you're going to get from me. I misunderstood what you were saying in the OP. I agree that cost of attending games is getting too high for the average fan.
