Spoke with Wheeling (W.Va.) Wheeling Park 2018 quarterback Cross Wilkinson and right now he told me that he doesn't have any offers but a number of schools have been expressing interest including West Virginia. He told me that he plans to take a camp visit this summer but to this point has yet to take a trip to Morgantown. Wilkinson has been to Pittsburgh and Marshall twice and told me that he also will visit each of those this summer. The 2018 QB told me that coaches have liked his arm strength and overall intelligence on the field and he is coming off a season where as a first year starter he threw for 27 touchdowns and over 2,000 yards. He did tell me that he grew up a fan of Ohio State but he obviously has interest in West Virginia because of it being instate and if they show interest in him he will return the favor. A long way to go here but just wanted to provide an update.
