Maybe @Vernon @Keenan Cummings or even @rochester24 could weigh in, but I wonder how well his coaching style would work now with NIL and the portal. I know he's doing well at JSU and it's always seemed that he does his best with guys who have a chip on their shoulder. Tough, hard-working, under-recruited kids who have a point to prove. One of Rod's biggest strengths is his ability to identify and develop talent, but will kids today stick around long enough to see that process through? Or will they hit the portal when they feel their coaches are dogging them too hard? Will we have enough NIL funding to hang onto them once they've developed?
Grudges aside, do you think Rich Rod can still be successful at the P4 level?
