I wanted him to get more time with the offense in the previous games but now we need to think about his health. I say play him one or two series in the second half if we're up by more than 24.

I hope you're right. But, I also hope that we're not ripe for an upset. I remember another game where we were predicted to win by 28....

That's pretty much what WVU did against East Carolina and Delaware State. Hell, against the Hornets the WVU starters were in street clothes before the game was over. Kansas shouldn't be any different. TCU and Texas Tech will be a major step up from ECU and DS. That's when all the reps by the backups may come in handy if a starter goes down. I hope David Long can get into shape by TCU and Texas Tech games. Grimm and Long make WVU a team that Virginia Tech would not beat.

M angy special teams + absence of Simms & Long = loss to Virginia
Tech, 31-24

O bliterated East Carolina, 56-20

U nhinged Delaware State, 59-16

N apalm Kansas

T errorize TCU

A nnihilate Texas Tech

N ullify Oklahoma State

E rectile dysfunction Iowa State

E masculate Kansas State

R eam Texas

S hock Oklahoma

Speaking of Long, has anybody heard anything as to how he's doing? I know Dana doesn't give an injury updates--at least anything specific anyway. Anyone have any inside info?
