Must be going a different direction in Herd land.

Wouldn’t it be something if he and Doege traded spots?
Wouldn't bother me. But I doubt being a sophomore he would come to WVU. He will want to go where he can start right away. But if he walked on I'm sure they wouldn't turn him away like Holgorsen did.

Doege will end up at a G5 program more than likely. Doubt it would be Marshall, but suppose it's possible since the Herd didn't have a serviceable backup QB. Wells is probably better fit at FCS program.

His decision to transfer makes a lot of sense because Minnesota's best running back, who was injured late in the Opener vs. Ohio State, is returning to school.

I did see where Wells was going to the Mountaineers of App State possibly.
He is serviceable. He was funny at Marshall because he would go on a tear and look great for a few games and then have a turnover laden shitshow and leave everyone shaking their head. I only saw him play live once against ODU. He was pretty average for 3 1/2 quarters and then he turned into Johnny Manziel for 6 minutes and OT.

From what I saw of him he'd play well until he got hit hard or threw an interception then he seemed to be scared the rest of the game. Then he became a scared deer during hunting season

That is what my buddies said. I remember him imploding in the Rice game but that was all I can remember.
