Good luck in dance, Cousins...winning it all would

need to avoid Michigan state and UVA....don't like those matchups...just like Texas....other than that I think we have a shot
Once you get into the round of 16...they're all tough! But your press and traps are relentless...whoever plays the Mounties better be able to hang onto the ball or adiois!

UK I think may be a sleeper also. WVU has a legit shot if they can manage to stay away from teams that are familiar with their style.

Calling UK a sleeper says a lot about this field. It is wide open.

Our guards have to shoot well, if they do, we'll go far and could possibly win it all. They had been doing better, actually shot close to 50% from 3 during the first 2 games of the Big 12 tourney, and then couldn't hit anything against Kansas. Even with that, we were still in it. Within 4 with about 3 minutes to play, but just couldn't hit enough to pull any closer or pull ahead.

Our defense will be a nightmare, and that will give us a good shot against anybody in the field.

Things I love about WVU: 1) Relentless press and traps 2) Dev Williams 3) Heart...you can tell it hurts this kids to lose a game...gimme those guys all day long!

Did you see Devin Williams after the Kansas game? Kid put everything he had into that game and he was devastated.

I love this team. I doubt there's an NBA player anywhere on the roster, but a bunch of kids with chips on their shoulders willing to work hard and scrap. If there's a ball on the floor, you can bet we'll have 2 guys diving for it. It's both ugly and beautiful all at the same time.

I don't know, Williams could be a NBA Power forward if he continues to develop his offensive skills away from the basket, he's got an NBA body!

He's definitely developed a good outside shot from just inside the line, but I don't know if he's got the athleticism. Granted, I don't watch much NBA, but from what I've seen everybody can jump through the roof and he doesn't really have that. Of course Joe Alexander COULD jump through the roof and didn't make it, so who knows.

I don't mean to sound critical. I love Devin, he has worked really hard and really developed his game and seems to be a high character guy. There's nothing not to like. He's a great college player ... I just question if it will translate.

...when he blocks out , you ain't going over him or definitely not through him! He's thick.

when he blocks you out, you stay blocked ... :)
He is very strong, no question. Huggins says he's probably the most fouled player in the league but he doesn't get calls because he's so strong that they just bounce off him.

He's improved markedly each year in the program. You have to love a player that works that hard. He could be an absolute monster next year if he keeps working.

We could be scary good next year. We lose Holton and Paige and that's it. (granted, they are a big part of our success) We'll bring in West and Bolden who have been redshirting, and Brandon Watkins hasn't played a lot this year coming off the knee surgery. If he's good after a complete off season of basketball work and not just rehab, he'll be a nice addition. Everybody else has another year in the system and another year of improvement.

Agree, 2016-17 looks promising!
