And that makes perfectly good sense. Dana has been quoted as saying that he began looking seriously at having a running threat at qB and using much more run within the offensive structure several years ago when he was in need of a new OL coach. That is the reason for pulling in Crook from a run happy offense like Stanford. The initial staffs at wvU were heavily weighted with "Air raid" folks and many from the southwest. With time and attrition Dana has modified the staff pedigree with much more emphasis on the run AND having folks with some attachment to West Virginia or, at least, East Coast Football. So, during the changes for Dana have come changes in the type of player being rerouted, especially at QB. Shoiuld come as NO surprise and m of course, NO CONDEMNATION, that he has 'been all over the place' as pertaining to QBs.
Are you referring to a quality QB that will win evey conference game and receive votes for the Heisman trophy and break every WVU passing record plus was an in state recruit - Holgorsen hasn't had much success so far.

You can quote me on this. Skylar Howard is a very capable QB and is respected by all the players, coaches.....................and 99% of the fans. Have you ever tried being a QB on a power team? Ole Warez has and knows that it ain't easy! Heck, I remember them ole boys from Lincoln County ringing my bell more than onct!

Word comes to me from a friend and confidant at ESPN that Sky has perfected the 'juke move' and the 'phantom move' during recent practice sessions that were held at a clandestine location. These moves will be unveiled on an 'as needed' basis only during the ASU game. Otherwise, they will be saved for 'Next Year'. By the way..............I onct juked a Lincoln County boy out of his high top lace up shoes!
Just want to note that in 2014, two QBs recruited by Holgorson........ Clint Trickett and Skyler Howard...... led WVU to a #4 nationally ranked passing attack in College Football and a top 15 offense.......
