falling apart...and this is neither an anti or a pro DH thread. Down to two RBs and one of them hasn't played a game as a Mountaineer. Guys suspended for the Spring including the kicker and a hyped WR. RB leaving for greener pastures.Coaches leaving..including the WR coach.. DH now coaching WRs...stretching his HC duties even thinner. We are a couple freak practice injuries away from putting together a make shift backfield. Ugh. What happened to all the depth that has been developed? Better hope for a couple bust out freshmen. Yea, I know the next guys will step up line of thought...but there has to be some next guys to do that.

I haven't heard or read anything about RB Coach Seider leaving. Where did that come from?

Dana is a proven quitter. Losing his friend, the former st coach, and not getting the extension he wanted was more than enough hardship to effectively end the season for him. This kind of thing is hard for other coaches and players to miss

Dana ain't no quitter! Nobody in their right mind would walk away from a job that pays $4 Million per year ($80,000 a week)...............with a guaranteed number of years and a buyout. Get over it. Now, don't go correcting me and saying Dana really only makes $60,000 a week. He makes 2X more in a week than most hard working folks make in a year! Quitter? NOT!

Yes...down to two scholarship RBs....McKoy and Shell and a couple of WV native walk ons. Comment doesn't include true freshmen coming in the Fall.

Good god, too bad ignorance of facts is not punishable on this board. In the last few years this board has been infiltrated with momma's little cellar dwellers.

I still have two years of college eligibility remaining and will walk on the Mountaineer squad if necessary. I live in Dallas and Jerry Jones put the Jugs gun on me just last week. I ain't lost a step and could cakewalk into a feature back position real quick!

All that Jerrah cares about is whether you have a "quick twitch," Warez, and, perhaps, a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue!

I play cards with Jerrah twice a week. He has tried to sign me to a Cowboy contract time and time again. It ain't about the money for ole Warez. No sireeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I'm ashamed to admit that I became a Cowboys' fan long before "Jerrah," and continue to be so. Two decades of mediocrity, and counting....

The 25 losses incurred in the last four seasons are reason enough for concern. That with some real bona fide stars at times & experience laden rosters in instances.

Couple that with the stalemate contract, assistants leaving, best recruiter gone...it's a little precarious to say the least. The schedule again is nothing easy & the defense again is rebuilding. We don't know what to expect from the QB position & after the coming season, that's a complete ? Again.

Would be nice, but I can't get a feel. Some moments terrible. Others good to great. 500 plus yard bowl. 3600 yard 32 TD season I think it was around. Conference leading rusher to help balance & one of the BXII's best defenses. Still went 4-5.

It's spring and we are already falling apart? Lol! Ok you said "hyped" RB. DTW has done NOTHING since he has arrived here. He hasn't shown the work ethic to be relied upon. So all he is is "hyped". DH has said he may not be back on the team ever. As for a RB "leaving for greener pastures" Jacky Marcellus is simply leaving to go somewhere he can get more playing time. That to me would mean he's buried on the depth chart, which in turn means we have depth. Right? Lol!

I've never understood the angst or excitement that comes with spring practice. I only hope we get out of it healthy and that it gives the coaches a good idea of our two deep.
