posts and mouth breather comments to folks that expressed concerns that WVU is just an average team and doesn't appear to be moving ahead of that anytime soon. I know some go overboard with doom and gloom, but others go equally overboard with "all is well" mentality and using good games against the little sisters of the poor as evidence that WVU isn't average. WVU is a middle of the pack team that is only significantly better off than Kansas in this league. Seriously, outside of the ***king Jekyll/Hyde Texas game WVU has nothing to really be proud of this season. Hell, forcing OT against OSU is the only OTHER thing to put down as a highlight on the season. This is fresh, so maybe I'll look back and think better of this post later. However, as of now, I predicted that this would be the game to really tell the story of the WVU football program after the 0-4 streak and it shows that our Mountaineers are closer to their ceiling than their floor.
