STORY LINES

• No. 6 seed Baylor faces No. 3 seed West Virginia in the Big 12 Championship quarterfinals Thursday night. The game will be televised on ESPN2 and WatchESPN and tips off 30 minutes after the 6 p.m. CT game.
• BU is 16-20 all-time in Big 12 Championships, including 12-13 under Scott Drew and 11-8 since 2009.
• Baylor is the tournament’s No. 6 seed for a second time (2013, loss in quarterfinals to Oklahoma State).
• BU was eliminated in the quarterfinals last season, snapping a streak of 3 straight semifinal appearances.
• Baylor is 31-16 in postseason tournaments (conference, national) over the last nine seasons.
• Baylor lost both games to WVU this season, 57-54 in Morgantown and 71-60 in Waco.
• Baylor won its only prior Big 12 Championship game vs. WVU, 80-70 in a 2015 quarterfinal (4 vs. 5).
