Friend from EP was discussing Tyrson Bagent...

The above post is your opinion of what you want to believe happened, but isn't the truth........ it is a prime example of much of this thread. You're rejecting actual events for a narrative that you prefer.

Lee blue-shirting allowed him to join the team all while STILL preserving his redshirt season availability as well and it allowed WVU to pursue better prospects in 2018.

It was posted from day 1 of Lee's recruitment on the premium board that blue-shirting was the plan.
yes, this is correct, but its not that he was not good enough. You said the kid was not good enough. It was a numbers game (yes to ensure we got some of our top targets).

how else do you describe our coaches saying "Look, we need to keep looking, but we want you in 2019"

Lee was good enough. He was a stud at Martinsburg. He’s already dominating at WVU and will help nicely next year. Instant impact. WVU defensive line is in great shape for next year with 4 WV boys in Stills, Stills, Reese Donahue, Tavis Lee. Wow a WV brick wall. The WV boys are walking in and playing quick. What’s that tell you? We need more.

Lee is said by everyone in the program to be a star of the future. Keatoncornerloser your going to be proud of the ALL WV BRICK WALL defensive line next year. Yeahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

Tavis Lee is going to be a star. I saw him live in high school and he is NFL talent ceiling. Big time talent.

Don’t make an ass out of yourself with Lee. He’s a bigtime talent. Going to help WVU pass rush.

Allison is suspect and Lowe is unknown and plays baseball too. .
This is why your shit is comical.

You make the statement above about two out of state quarterbacks and play down their potential saying they are suspect or unknown but you are ready to deem a 17-year-old in-state kid with a handful of DII starts as a future WVU starter.

Keaton,

Dana has not recruited a high school QB that has developed into a starter yet at WVU, so pounding you chest over this does little good. You can say it does not matter because of our transfers but Dana will not get a big time job until he learns how to evaluate and develop QB's. Talk about wasting schalorships then why is William Crest still on our team? I would take a WV kid any day of week and try to develop him over leaving kids like Crest on the team
Autism

Some people just have this thing about a high school QB under Dana.

Even though it has absolutely nothing to do with how much Dana has won. Or his offensive production. Or the direction of the program.

It's obvious it's a argument against Dana that someone uses who doesn't like him.

Yeah but he can't recruit a HS quarterback and he won't ever get a "better job"

Until an an AD from another P5 school comes along we wont know but at this point he has gotten no offers

Speaking of WV kids and the kicking game...

Another kick off out of bounds for Staley
and he looked good at a 50 yard plus FG attempt, and a nice grab by Wesco.

Btw, another 4 td effort by Bagent, 24 for 36, 350 yards, and wideouts continue to drop balls

Oh no there are some horrible power 5 QBs. This kid could start start at some power 5 schools now. Tyson to WVU plus a grad transfer. Tyson sits out redshirting and competes with Lowe, Allison the following year.

He’s probably going to transfer to WVU and redshirt next year and have 3 years starting in 2020-2022. Great steal pickup for WVU. Kid can throw it better than anybody we will recruit from high school. Everybody missed on this kid. A top graduate transfer will start at WVU next year.

If we get good transfers like this at QB than high school busts don’t matter as much.

He will not play D2 after this year. He’s 17 and too good for D2. Kid is legit D1 power 5 level QB.

I wonder why you never hear much about P5 schools coming into WV and taking kids. If they aren't going P5 (WVU) then where else would they be going?

In Divison 2. Good for him
from Marshalls message board. It seems this coach thinks he could start in the Sun Belt right now

Are we talking about the same Bagent kid who lost the game against Notre Dame College (College, not the University of) by throwing three interceptions?

In fairness, I just asked a coach who played them earlier this year about the kid. Last year, he was a coach at a Sun Belt school. He said Bagent is "the real deal" and that he would be the best QB on the roster at his school last year (a Sun Belt school). Seeing that the Sun Belt has been ranked higher than C-USA every week of the season so far, it gives the annoying guy some credibility.
