“Friday night’s exhibition basketball game against Bowling Green will be broadcast on the Big 12 Now on ESPN+ as a courtesy to our fans. This will be a scaled-down Production, as our WVU TV truck will be in transit between televising men’s soccer late on Thursday night, to the football stadium for a very early crew call on Saturday.

We will have Andrew Caridi and Warren Baker as our announcers, but will have very limited graphics and no commercials. This is basically a Videoboard show that we will put on ESPN+ so that our fans can at least see the exhibition game. You will see some of the same in-game promotions that are on the Videoboard, which is unusual for a TV broadcast. But you will see all of the game action.

Rest assured, we will have our usual high-quality ESPN broadcasts for all regular season games. But this scaled-down show is at least an opportunity for our fans to see Hugg’s boys on Friday night. And we are happy to provide that for our fans.”
