If he is winning at Fordham 3-4 years in and Huggs calls it quits in that timeframe this will likely be our next coach IMO. I personally thought he was a prime candidate after Beilein bolted considering he could have kept his system going.

Yes, notice the tag "Former Mountaineer Coach"? If they weren't born here, raised here, played here, has a great grandfather from here, etc. they are not candidates. Doesn't matter if a guy goes 0-30 or 30-0, if he has ties here and holds a similar position elsewhere, he has the job offered.
