FOR MOUNTAINEER TRICKETT, IT'S ALL ABOUT PIGS, PIGSKINS
(March 5, 2015) - Having had his pigskin life turned upside down by five concussions in two seasons, West Virginia quarterback Clint Trickett puts his passion and personality on display in the coastal hills of Central California, persevering through wet, miserable conditions in pursuit of pigs in next week's Gridiron Outdoors with Mike Pawlawski adventure.
The episode airs Monday, March 9 at 10:30 a.m. ET, Wednesday, March 11 at 2:30 p.m. ET, and Sunday, March 15 at 6 p.m. ET on Outdoor Channel.

Trickett, who came out of the womb playing football, fell in love with hunting in high school, but there wasn't much time for it with his aspirations to be a Division I quarterback. Now, having been dealt the cruelest reality of all - his football career having ended just as he was on the NFL's doorstep - he turns his attention to making the most of the choices he gets to make. And that means transforming himself from player to coach and, in this case, to enjoying a little slice of life with a rifle slung over his shoulder.

With Pawlawski, the show host and star quarterback at the University of California in the early 90s, by his side, it's tough sledding on slippery slopes until patience is rewarded.
