Football To Hold Open Practice at The Greenbrier[/B]
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (April 10, 2015) - [/B]The West Virginia University football team will hold its second off-campus open practice this spring at the AdvoCare Performance Center at The Greenbrier in While Sulphur Springs, W.Va., on Saturday, April 18, starting at 12:30 p.m.
"The weekend of April 17 and 18, we're going down to The Greenbrier," WVU Head Football Coach Dana Holgorsen said. "We're excited about traveling down and getting to see the southern part of our state. I doubt a lot of guys on our team have ever been to the Greenbrier, so I know they're fired up about it."
Friday's practice (April 17) is closed, and Saturday's practice (April 18) will be open to the public. Admission to the event is complimentary. There will be concessions available on the grounds from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Transportation and parking will be $10 per person (required for adults and children). Transportation tickets must be purchased in advance online at greenbrier.com/WVU. Tickets will be available for purchase until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, April 17 or while supplies last. Walk-up ticket purchases will not be permitted. Personal vehicles and private buses/motor coaches are not permitted at the AdvoCare Sports Performance Center at The Greenbrier.
Parking will be located in White Sulphur Springs, as well as the State Fair of West Virginia parking lot. Shuttle buses will run continuously from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from the parking lots to WVU's practice site. Details on these locations can be found at greenbrier.com/WVU.
West Virginia will conclude spring practice with the annual Gold-Blue Game on Saturday, April 25, at 1 p.m. Tickets are $10 and are available for purchase at the Coliseum ticket office, online at WVUGAME.com or by calling 1-800-WVU GAME. WVU students will be admitted free with a valid ID.
