If the QB and the WRs are on the same page this year like they should be then I can definitely see 9-10 wins. Especially with WVU's schedule being more favorable this year. If WVU starts out 4-0 then it could be a special year.
If they have a true 'gunslinger' taking snaps this fall, with all of those experienced and fast receivers it could be interesting. I do not care what his name is, just make the freakin' throws to your open receivers or get off the field. If it's a repeat of last year at the QB position, who will be the next head coach?

Not making any predictions, but the schedule is the complete opposite of last year -- it sets up perfectly for a fast start in league play. Overall, it's as favorable as any schedule we're likely to see in many years.

Yeah ... at least the football team won't build you up before letting your down like the basketball team did this year.
Skyler had 32 total TDs and nearly 3700 yards with an inexperienced group wideouts. He is fine and I suspect he'll improved on those numbers this year as our receivers mature and our OL gels.
WV will indeed have a 'gunslinger' at the QB position next year. Some folks don't care about the name (any ole gunslinger will do) but I will supply the name for you. Skyler Howard.

It IS good to see Texas, Oklahoma and Baylor in the final 4 games. TV must think WVU will be in the mix because they love the later games to be between two or more major contenders for the title.
And alternating between home and away throughout the conference season is a major nod toward WVU by the Big 12.
Now we have to wait 6 months to see what transpires.
And 5 more before I post my tentative acrostic.
I tried that with basketball this season and regretted it. Never again. It's so much more fun to be positive, have faith in the players and coaches.
