As Coach West well knows, the Old Fold & Blew Homers in the local media have shamelessly touted the Big 12 as the best basketball conference in America. However, the computer models clearly indicate that the Big Ten is the nation's best, and, if there had been any remaining doubt, the mighty Big 12 just removed it by losing 5 out of its 9 match-ups vs. the country's best FOOTBALL conference on Saturday.

Kind of sad losing that challenge to the SEC.

Just thinking about the B1G facing off against the SEC, and not too sure it wouldn't have been a skunk.

Michigan over Alabama
Iowa over Florida
Illinois over Tennessee
Ohio State over Kentucky
Wisconsin over Missouri
Purdue over Arkansas
Rutgers over LSU
Minnesota over Auburn
Indiana over Mississippi State
Maryland over Texas A&M

The SEC would probably have an upset win or two, but wouldn't win the challenge vs the B1G. You'll notice that the ancient former sportswriter, who loves to pound his chest about the Big 12, has remained silent about this year's challenge vs. the SEC. By the way, WVU is 2-6 in the Big 12/SEC challenge since the series began eight years ago.

Pretty ironic post for a thread titled "foolish conference pride".

I didn't start the post. I believe It helps the conference in-which your team plays, perform well against OOC teams, though it probably makes a bigger difference in football than basketball, since 68 make the field in hoops. Seeding does come into play a little though.

I just think the B1G has 9 or 10 really good teams that would perform well against the top 9 or 10 from other conferences.

To my untrained and disinterested eye only Nebraska and Michigan Sate lack the firepower to beat anyone although Sparty has some talent just a ton of baggage. The rest on a given night can beat anybody!

Michigan State has the firepower, too, but can't seem to get everybody healthy for conference play. Sparty won at Duke, which is down this season, I realize, but that's still not a bad win. Nebraska is the only truly bad team in the B1G this year, and that's why the B1G is the best conference in America, according to the computers, anyway.

KinkyCoal is a special kind of stupid. First he started a thread claiming Snow Sled was begging for his attention, and he called Snow Sled out my name in the thread title, which would indicate the he is begging for SSB's attention.

Next he starts another thread about foolish conference pride and goes on to make a fool of himself by bragging up the big 10 with his responses in his own foolish conference pride thread.

I think he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer but when you've got that much stupid you may as well put it on display for the world to see.

Hey, ancient retard with an IQ at the same level as the current temperature in Gilmer bum fvck County: Your post responded to Dave's post, and Dave had responded to MichiganHerd. I'm neither Dave nor MichiganHerd, but you obviously see me around every corner. It's not "foolish" to post about the strength of your school's conference when the numbers and models support your conference being No. 1, but it is idiotic to flap your dentures about your school allegedly being in the "best conference in America" when the numbers and models don't support your argument, and you lay an egg against the nation's best FOOTBALL conference. See the difference, meathead?

Who started the thread titled foolish conference pride? Uhhhh that would be you, right before you started bragging up the big 10. Dumbass.

So here we go with more flapping your dentures remarks. You forgot your normal "beating your frail chest" line. In another thread I mentioned that you needed to come up with some new material and I remarked that you couldn't. Same old same old coming from you.

My grandmother had an old saying that fits you. It went "Big head little wit, Little head not a bit." What do you have to say about that PINHEAD?

But you didn't respond to my post, BuzzDung. Your grandmother must have been older than baseball, and it's a good thing that she's no longer around for you to embarrass her with your lack of wit. You still can't grasp the meaning of "foolish pride," so I'll try one more time to penetrate your bird brain: An example of "foolish pride" is when one beats his chest and declares that his favorite school's conference is superior to all others, even though the numbers and models don't support his propaganda. Conversely, posting about a conference that is, in fact, No. 1, according to the numbers and models, is not foolish. Hopefully, this clarifies things for you, Gilmore Geezer.

Dickhead is TVZ, biggest troll on board.
What's funny about this illiterate serial profile poster is that she refuses to use her TownesVanZandt handle whenever she's being an obviously delusional WVU homer fan, and uses the d!ck head profile instead, but has convinced herself that other posters believe that TVZ is not an Old Fold & Blew homer. TVZ thinks that people are stupid enough to believe that a Texas fan would be posting about the details of WVU's baseball (of all college sports) roster at 3:00 a.m. on a WVU message board. She's truly the dumbest poster on any message board.
