Why did OSU drop it's basketball series w/ WVU years ago? They couldn't stand that many butt whuppin's in a row is how I remember it. Gary Williams was such a pussy, he cancelled the WVU-MD series that had been going on decades as soon as he got there.

Marial Shayok, who was voted as a consensus all Big 12 first team player and had 23 of the Cyclones' 59 points vs. Ohio State last night, didn't play vs. WVU in Morganhole. Shayok did play against the Old Fold & Blew in Ames, however, and the final score was...

My God, Old Fold & Blew retards have taken over my thread. When it had its best player, Marial Shayok, Iowa State destroyed the Old Fold & Blew by the score of 93-68, but your pea-sized brain is incapable of remembering what happened less than two months ago, right?

Shayok scored 18 points when the Cyclones humiliated tHuggs' boys in Ames, and 23 in last night's loss to Ohio State. Without Shayok, Iowa State resembles the Old Fold & Blew. With him, Iowa State cruised to a Big 12 tournament championship, and thumped conference daddy Kansas as it did so. WVU is preparing to play 16-16 and the Sun Belt Conference's sixth best team Coastal Carolina on Monday. Y'all are paying $50,000 to play a 16-16 and sixth place Sun Belt Conference team. Let that sink in for a moment, Pops.
tOSUdogpeckergnat, There was nothing wrong with my reading comprehension when I read how thrilled you were by squeaking by Iowa State who we beat by 15 with 4 freshmen leading the way................and you continue to look foolish by coming here gloating about your "big win". As for us being in the CBI, no one here is proud of that. As closely as you follow WVU sports, I'm sure you know all the attrition our team suffered all season long.
You keep ignoring the fact that Iowa State DESTROYED WVU when the Cyclones were at full strength. Iowa State also was at full strength when it blew through the Little 12 to the conference championship, then lost to the Buckeyes last night. You can compare apples to oranges to the prunes that you eat daily to stay regular, but apples-to-apples, Iowa State w/Shayok killed WVU, and lost to Ohio State. Sorry to keep bothering you with the facts. Another fact: WVU went 4-14 in conference play, and Ohio State just beat WVU's conference champion. That has to suck for Old Fold & Blew Nation.
And how many freshmen did we play and start? So they were missing a player. We were missing our top player Sags for the entire season minus 8 games. So yeah, players miss games at times. So congrats again on being a team we beat up on. Enjoy the win and happy that you found your way to our board minutes after your victory.
Being that you watched WVU as much or maybe more than most of us, you surely would have had to have noticed that WVU wasn't at full strength since after the Pitt game in early December.........funny how that fact doesn't seem to register in your feeble mind.
Congrats on beating a team at home without its all conference first team and best player by 15 after having lost to that team at full strength by 25, delusional dumb a$$ in denial. Moreover, congrats on paying your way into a nothing postseason tournament with a 14-20 team led by a "Hall of Fame coach" desperate to pad his win total.
The current Old Fold & Blew team is better than the clowns that tHuggs ran out there game after game until the University kicked them off of the team. Your "Hall of Fame coach" was an idiot for most of this season. His giant ego compelled him to jerk his first-year players off of the floor following every mistake, which precluded McCabe, Matthews, and Haley from being able to prove in game action that they were better than Ahmad, Harris, Harler, etc. After the school (not tHuggs) gave Ahmad and Harris the boot, and Beetle decided to jump ship, tHuggs has had no choice, but to let his younger and better players play.
Not only Sags, but Beetle, Ahmad, and Harris were all missing from our lineup on March 6, when we trounced ISU. But the only thing tOSUdogpeckergnat noticed was that ISU was without Shayok that evening.
Congrats on your huge win. Don't let the fact wvu whipped them a few weeks ago diminish it. Enjoy
Great point, Buzzturd. All those WVU rejects were destined to be first-team all conference, and finish tied for second in the league in scoring. The proof is in the pudding. Iowa State sucked without Shayok, then won your conference after his return. WVU was at full strength when it lost to Western Kentucky. What you're doing is attempting to revise history, and you're only embarrassing yourself.
Congrats on going 4-14 and finishing last in a conference won by a team that just lost at full strength to Ohio State. I own you, and that's why you post in my threads on this board, and very few others.
