Big 12 Bowl Projections
Thanks to Notre Dame losing to Stanford, there wasn’t any drama on Championship Weekend with Oklahoma a lock to get in. However, it’s likely going to move down to No. 4 in the final rankings, and that probably means a trip to the Capital One Orange Bowl to face Clemson.

While the league might have flown under the radar on the final weekend, two key things happened. Kansas State stunned West Virginia to become bowl eligible on its own – no need for the NCAA APR exemption. That also makes it easy to put Texas Tech into the AdvoCare V100 Texas Bowl and West Virginia into the AutoZone Liberty.

More importantly, it means Baylor is out of the Sugar Bowl and Oklahoma State is in. Now, the Bears will probably be off to the Russell Athletic Bowl and TCU will get the call to the Alamo. .
