The answer is simple....

Doc's bread and butter are talented players with tons of baggage, that either get kicked out of their first choices or can't come close to qualifying elsewhere. For instance, AJ Leggett would have been a Cane if he could have made the grade.

"I've been wanting to play at UM all my life. I see a lot of opportunity there. I've been working hard to get my grades right, my test scores, my classes and stuff in line. The only thing I have to pass right now is Spanish and math class in virtual school so I can graduate on time. If I maintain my grades, I'll be straight." -AJ Leggett

Doc is used to recruiting quality talent and not having to worry about the problem recruits. Now that he's at Marshall, he is reduced to depending on screw-ups and non-qualifiers. What to do about that itchy trigger finger he has is question Bob Pruett could probably answer for him.

"Give'em a mop and a good paying job.The kind of "job" that they don't have to show up for, Doc! But keep it on the down-low." -Bob Pruett

Kyle Rose, the cop assaulter, is playing for HoGo......not Doc.

AJ Leggett was a full qualifier at Marshall, and given Marshall and wvu have the same admission standards, he would have also been a full qualifier at your school. Miami's admission standards exceed those of both Div I universities in the state of WV, as well as those of the ncaa.

Carry on with your fantasies.

"Woohoo! We got one that qualified, woohoo!"

Ummm....NO! He took a basic English and basic math class in the summer to get eligible.

Regardless, he's no longer on the team and neither is Angelo Jean-Louis.

After reading more about it, you're correct. However, it doesn't look like grades were the issue at Miami either. The problem was that he went to more than two high schools. Schools outside of ant-ball conferences wanted him to go to prep school and he didn't want to. He was originally back and forth between Miami and Florida State.

No fantasies here. He wanted to be a Cane first, then Florida State and settled for Marshall so he could avoid prep school.

Looks like he should have gone to prep school like the big programs suggested. It would have no doubt been good for him. In fact, had he done as he was advised, odds are, he would still be on the field at Miami or Florida State instead of being kicked off Marshall's team.

It's no big secret, the city of Huntington is out to sabotage Marshall football. I was watching the news earlier. There was a big sting on ho's and pimps in Lil' Detroit during the week. The footage showed the Tower dorms in the background. I'm guessing that's where the activity was based at?

The pimps have fled and the girls are sitting in the jailhouse with no one to make their bail. If the city is going to clamp down on one of Johnny's Kids main sources of income, you can't expect them to play on Saturdays.

You'd think a multi-zillionaire like MichiganHerd would be down there bailing those girls out if he cared about Moo football?
