Everyone Laughs at Your Coach

Not nearly as much as they laugh at your career

I am not sure why you keep using "your." If you mean King Rifle, let me help you out with his coaching career (since we know practically nobody on this board wants to compare with his other career):

North Texas (FBS): Quality Control Coach working with Quarterbacks and Special Teams
- The QB he worked with, after a sub-par career to that point, had a career year and then signs with the Denver Broncos

Bethune-Cookman (FCS): Quarterbacks Coach
- Team finishes in the FCS top 25 every year, team wins the conference every year, and team beats an FBS team every year
- Quarterback leads the COUNTRY in pass efficiency, the conference in many other major statistics, and signs with Winnipeg in the CFL

Abilene Christian (FCS): Quarterbacks Coach
- Quarterback, as a first-year starting sophomore, finishes in the top 10 in the country in passing yards per game, total offense per game, TD/INT ratio, and completions per game, even though the extremely young receiving corp drops 6.1 balls per game

Everywhere King Rifle has coached QBs, it leads to phenomenal results at the position. And I have been told his recruiting ability dwarfs even the production his position unit provides on the field. Bow down.

North Texas, Abilene Christian, Bethune-Cookman?

Damn! Impressive! Gotta be making five figures.

This coach, too:

That is why so many of us envy King so much. He has worked about four months over the last two years, yet still lives the life we all dream about on a daily basis. That is why he can turn down more lucrative positions and do what he wants. He doesn't need to make one-figure let alone six like most FBS assistants.

Most high school and college coaches spend their entire careers trying to reach the D1 level. Yet, King was able to quickly get there as his third career (he has been a wild success in his other two). In fact, five years ago before he started his journey, he was told by the owner of a very well-known coaching website that it would be a huge shock if he ended up ever coaching at a D1 school simply based on him being out of the sport for a decade and not really having any contacts in it. Yet, King proved him wrong quickly and has coached at three D1 schools, two of which his position unit were one of the bests in the country.

I heard if you asked him for an autograph, he would give you one. He just doesn't like when people bother him at games to get a picture with him like a wvu fan (archetype) did the first time he met him at a game.
