Everyone has their own reason to vote the way they did. Here is mine.

I voted for Trump for a variety of reasons. The one that still stands out to me, the one I still haven’t gotten over and likely never will.

I remember Afghanistan. I was forced to leave behind friends and their families. I still hear the frantic calls for help from them. I still see their kids faces in my dreams. When our nation failed, I was forced to act on my own in conjunction with a lot of other veterans to ratline people out of that country. Not all of them made it out. People I was close to were executed. All because of the desire for a PhotoOp by this shitbag administration. 11 Marines, 1 Soldier, and a 1 Navy Corpsman died needlessly at the Abbey Gate.

It was only by the grace of God that I got my US Team out of there on the last flight from Kabul before it was overrun or they’d have likely suffered the same fate at the Abbey Gate.

Not one person was fired or held accountable for what occurred. The Democratic Party will never get mine or my family’s vote as a result.

Vote for your nation today, and honestly, I don’t care who you vote for. I’m just telling you why I voted the way I did and I respect your reasons to vote the way you want to.

I pray for a Trump victory as a means of retribution and accountability for all those involved in that disastrous withdrawal.

The pullout from Afghanistan is perhaps the lowest day in American history. Certainly militarily it is up there with Pearl Harbor and unlike Pearl Harbor it was not a surprise attack...it was entirely avoidable.

It was without question a seminal event in my life that forever altered me and how I view our Govt. It broke everything I held sacred, everything I believed about my life and the sacrifices I’d made to that point. I will never forgive them.

I can only imagine the feeling but I have heard the same from so many. To take the 20 years of sacrifice from our men and women in service and just shit all over it while giving our enemy a gold mine and leaving our allies behind is the most disgusting act. I agree it has changed how I view our government but I don't have the skin in that game like those who fought there.

It's like in one act most. If the things I thought were conspiracy became true when it comes to the evil in our government.

Watching the Cheney clan now stump for Harris is just laughable but not in a haha way.

I had to settle for a 6 dollar burrito. If Harris wins it won't be long before others have to start cutting back on other things like internet service.

My friend who is the Marine recruiter in Charlottesville , was at the other gate when the bomb exploded. One of the ladies that was killed in the bomb attack was a friend. I think Nic is a captain now. This admin holds nobody accountable. Guy went awol from his post for prostate surgery and didn’t tell anyone.

They had the bomber in sight for 3 hours and asked several times for permission to remove him as a threat and were told to stand down.

When Biden came to visit a man who lost most his arms and legs in the blast he tried to shake his non existent hand and the asked the man "Hat exactly is it that you want now?"
